This CD " MARIONETTE " is the 3rd CD from the group Cheshmeh and was released in 2004. In this album Cheshmeh demonstrates songs in a variety of styles such as blues, rap, rock, metal, experimental electronics, classical and many more, but nevertheless they're all captured in rock. It truly demonstrates the band's untold sides and opens the door for their listeners to a very broad spectrum of musical expressions. The album was produced by the band themselves and is really a collection of their musical knowledge. This album really grooves and often it dances you with the unique musical taste of Cheshmeh. " Marionette is an individual who comes to this world and adapts and adheres a pre-fabricated way of life" says Amir Rahimi who has written most of the songs on this album. " if you live your life always doing or thinking what they told you to do or think then you are a fucking marionette " he adds. " it is not necessary a 9 to 5 job that turns you into a marionnette, a lot of people believe something because everybody else is believing it. They are nothing but a marionnette and they die that way. " " we could be controlled by our television or another institution or even sex and money motivation., it doesn't matter " continues Mr. Rahimi. " this is really an album for everybody ".
